Amboseli National Park is the best place from which to view snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro! Its primary vegetation consists of grasslands, lush acacia forests, and ever-wet swamplands. It is home to some of the largest elephant herds and affords visitors magnificent views of the mountain and elephants.

Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the snow-capped peak, Kibo, at 5,896 meters. It truly is Africa’s highest free-standing mountain.
Other than the BIG FIVE one can spot cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna.
