Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Nature Trails Expeditions safari guide. After a short transfer to your hotel, you’ll have time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a safari briefing where your guide explains the adventure ahead, wildlife expectations, and answers any questions.
Overnight in Nairobi
Purpose: Gentle arrival and proper rest before the safari begins.
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward Lake
Nakuru National Park. This park is famous for its rich birdlife, especially flamingos, and is one of
the best places in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos. Enjoy an afternoon game drive
where you may also spot Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, lions, and leopards.

After breakfast, continue your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve,
Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destination. The drive offers changing landscapes, local
villages, and sweeping savannah views. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game
drive. This is your first introduction to the Mara’s vast plains and abundant wildlife.
Overnight at a tented safari camp in Masai Mara

Spend two full days exploring the Masai Mara with unhurried morning and afternoon game

Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive where elephants often roam freely across the plains with Kilimanjaro as a dramatic backdrop.

Highlight: Elephants, open landscapes, and mountain views.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli when wildlife is most active and the chances of clear Kilimanjaro views are highest. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi for your international departure or onward travel arrangements. End of safari with unforgettable memories.
